Oneida Community Revere 3 Piece Baby Feeding Set
Oneida Community Revere 3 Piece Baby Feeding Set
Oneida was established as a religious communal society in upstate New York in 1848. To support the community, members began to make silverware. Soon they became famous, as Oneida’s quality, in line with their spiritual mission, was utopian. In 1880, after operating for decades as a commune, the community transitioned to be one of America's earliest joint-stock companies, as well as one of the first to have a woman on the board of directors. In 1899, the company began production of silver plated flatware using the name Community Plate. Oneida then revolutionized the industry by pioneering stainless steel flatware in the 1960s. After 170 years, Oneida is still striving for and symbolizes perfection.
