Collection: Waterman Pen Company

The Waterman Pen Company was established in 1883 in New York City by Lewis Waterman. A salesman and innovative entrepreneur, Waterman's breakthroughs in the fine writing instrument industry won the company the gold medal of excellence at the "Exposition Universelle" in Paris in 1900.

Following the founder's death in 1901, his descendants continued innovating and expanding worldwide while always sticking to quality and reliability. As the 20th century moved on and Waterman began losing market share to competitors, their embrace by the French always persevered. In the 1950's, this led to the brand's French arm taking the helm, striving to honor the legacy of quality and rich Parisian culture, modern elegance and a truly one-of-a-kind fine writing experience that always appealed in France.

Each Waterman pen is crafted in France, hand assembled and hand tested by a Waterman expert - from checking every nib for smoothness to making sure the quality of each pen is beyond magnificent. Defining elegance since 1883, Waterman luxury pens reflect sophistication in the connoisseurs who choose them.
