Sadie (owner/operator of UEG) fell on ice on 12/16 and shattered her leg/ankle in multiple spots, requiring surgery. Please read latest update from Sadie: Thank you all for your outpouring of love and support. I am out of the hospital, but need to keep my leg elevated and non-weight bearing, and am undergoing physical therapy. The doctor predicts 6 months for something close to a full recovery, but I am hoping I will be mobile enough to return to work in a limited capacity sooner. Unfortunately that looks as far out as March/April. I am staying with family an hour away from my shop/home for caretaking, which presents another challenge to returning to work even in a limited capacity (my apartment is a third-story walk up.) I will continue to keep this page and social media periodically updated. I look forward to the day I can return to work, see all my wonderful customers and create meaningful gifts again.
